Washita has no grit number and extreme specimen variation (sources span roughly 500 to 8000 grit-equivalent). A single very wide estimated range; honestly, it depends on the stone.
Each grade below shows its size in microns, its spread (the published distribution, where a maker or standard gives one; most makers publish none), and where that size lands on the reference scale, a shared yardstick for reading grit numbers across makers.
Range 14 to 35 µm. Effective ~20-30 µm for a typical well-chosen specimen (about 400-800 CAMI).
